Do You Remember?: Places to go and people to see

The year is ending, my thoughts are wending
Through the never ending stream of time.
Some thoughts endearing, some sad, some cheering;
Past scenes adhering to my mind.
The scenes distasteful, wanton, wasteful,
A few disgraceful I decline.
Some thoughts are fleeting, Oft repeating,
Long gone friends, they're greeting, Friends of mine.
The past we can't change, but the future remaining.
To achieve the aims left behind.
Let's all face tomorrow with hope, not sorrow.
We'll reap, not borrow, peace of mind.
